We are a team made up of working professionals living in Portland, OR and the Salt Lake City, UT area. We are drawn together by our mutual passion for competitive adventure racing, and our success as a team is based upon absolute trust in one another under all conditions.

From our spouses and our children, we draw the energy which sustains us during multi-day adventure races, and we are indebted to them for the sacrifices they have made in order for our selfish adventure racing dreams to come true.

We are fortunate to have the generous financial and product support of our title sponsors, Nike ACG and Gore-Tex.  This natural marriage of sponsors is an adventure racers dream.  Between these two product lines, you can find literally every piece of clothing and footwear that you need to paddle, climb, run, and bike your way to victory.  Thank you Nike ACG and Gore-Tex and we are looking forward to the 2008 - 2009 season!

We're not worthy!  Thank you Ellsworth for inventing the Ephiphany.  We have been all been avid mountain bikers for many, many years and this is the greatest bike that we have ever ridden.  Julie is even riding the Project Pink bike to raise awareness for Breast Cancer Research.


Kahtoola!  We absolutely scored with our association with Kahtoola.  Kahtoola has outfitted our team with their exclusive Flightboot and Flightdeck snowshoe systems, including their new Gypsy runner!  We are also using the Microspikes and KTS Crampons and we are prototyping the new TS Snowshoe binding.  Such great stuff!



Thank you Tifosi!  We have absolutely fallen in love with this eyewear.  Their Fototec lenses, light frames, and excellent ventilation are an adventure racers dream!



Team Nike ACG / Gore-Tex has been working with Spot over the past several months to provide product testing data.  We have become quite addicted to our Spots and the excellent service that is provided by these little orange units.  We are very excited that Spot has become the title sponsor for the 2008 Primal Quest and we are proud to be partnered with such an exciting company.

  We are very happy to announce that we are testing official Petzl products.  We have long relied upon the excellent climbing and lighting products from Petzl and we are happy to be giving some of their new products a good trial run!
